Flaunt Thy Layout

It’s not that I have loads of free time, nor that I’m bored, I just wanted something else to do.

I like memes, I like scrapbooking, and thought of a way to combine the two. Isn’t it true that everyone loves to show off their layouts? Especially if a layout turns out really well and it gives you a warm feeling every time you look at it, you want to share it with the world. Yes, of course you can post them at your blog, but not everyone has a multitude of visitors – I sure don’t have πŸ˜‰ Uploading them to a Gallery at a (digital) scrapbooking forum attracts a little more visitors, so that’s another option.

But… *drumroll* now there’s Flaunt Thy Layout – a blog where you can add a comment with a link to the layout you want to share with the world. As it’s more fun to compare the different approach each person has, there is a monthly theme. Everyone can post a link, whether you are a paper, digital or hybrid scrapbook-fanatic, go ahead and show off!

If you don’t have a blog, you can upload the images to a (free) account at Flickr, or you can link to a layout in your forum gallery.

The theme is monthly – for now. Let’s just see how many people participate and if there’s enough interest, we can change to a two-weeks-theme or perhaps weekly.

For now, it’s just me, and I’m feeling lonely! πŸ™‚

This months theme is WATER – so if you have a layout that includes water in any way, post a comment with a link to your layout and make sure you have coffee/tea and cookies available for your visitors πŸ™‚

If you like this idea, please pass it on to your friends, at forums, blogs and/or click the “StumbleUponIt!” button at the bottom of this post!
