Yay – I’m a designer :)

LOL – Well… I already was, but now it’s official!

ASDBlinkie

I’ve joined a bunch of talented designers at 2 shops.

For as long as I’ve created Digital Scrapbooking Graphics, I always put them up as freebies – and, no worries, there will still be freebies available at my blog! But creating graphics is very timeconsuming and selling my graphics will provide the money needed for paying for my website and purchasing cute graphics to create even more kits 😀

I thought I had everything under control. I made sure I had 10 kits all ready to go if and when I got accepted at an existing DS Shop. So when I applied and was welcomed to join Scrapping Your Memories I almost got a heart attack, because…..
I always made full size kits, papers 8×8, but suddenly learned that full size kits are 12×12 *PANIC MODE*

To make a long story short… some graphics could be converted, but I had to redo many of them. Still not finished as my fingers are numb after working my butt off!

I proudly present the first products from At Sparky’s Designs!
Edit: Kits no longer available at a shop, Paypal button coming soon!

The C word :)

Some people don’t want to hear the word Christmas mentioned until it’s the 24th of December. Not me though uh-uh, ‘I wish it could be Christmas everyday’. Well, not really, as that would get boring I guess, but I just love Christmas and I try to savor the time that leads up to it.

I felt butterflies when I got the Sky Radio Newsletter today, announcing the start of the annual Sky Radio Christmas Station! Now I don’t have to surf the net in silence, as of today there’s Christmas music on my headphones 😀 ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’!

Oh I know I could put on my YouTube Christmas Playlist, but that’s not the same. The songs are limited and at the Sky Radio Christmas Station there’s 24 hours filled with Christmas Delight! What I especially love is the fact that there’s a playlist, so if you hear a song you like, you don’t have to search high and low for the artist/title, but it’s right there. Following the playlist, I start writing down song titles that I don’t have on my iPod yet (Confession: I have only Christmas songs on my iPod :p).

*happy sigh* This made my day – what a great early Christmas present!

Mosaic Flickr Game

In July 2008 I found “The Game“, and I had so much fun! But as the answers to most of the questions haven’t changed, and I wanted to do it again, I created a new list, which resulted in a new mosaic 🙂

The Concept:

  1. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr Search (Tip: I used the advanced search and ticked: Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content)
  2. Using only the first page, pick an image.
  3. Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into fd’s Mosaic Maker.

The Questions:

  1. What year were you born?
  2. In which country do you live?
  3. Favorite Season?
  4. What was your favorite vacation?
  5. Favorite animal?
  6. Favorite Disney Character?
  7. Best childhood memory?
  8. Favorite hobby?
  9. Favorite scent?
  10. Favorite flower?
  11. Favorite Holiday?
  12. Zodiac Sign?

Share your creation on your blog, upload it to your Flickr account, and join the Group!: http://www.flickr.com/groups/mosaicgame/

Here’s mine, with a link to the mosaic at my Flickr account, where I’ve added notes
