Freebie Digital Scrapbooking Kits

As promised, here are the new Harry Potter kits.
Comments are highly appreciated!

I’d love to see the kits in action, so please let me know if you’ve created a layout with any of them.

I’ve separated the houses, so people who are only interested in – for instance – Gryffindor, can download that particular kit and combine it with the Hogwarts kit. Enjoy!

J.K. Rowling

Awesome news, found at The Leaky Cauldron

UK publisher Bloomsbury has announced that the reading of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by author J. K. Rowling taking place at the Natural History Museum will be streamed LIVE online via the Bloomsbury website at midnight on July 21st.

Bloomsbury Publishing is delighted to announce that now everyone will be able to hear J K Rowling read from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in a live webstream from the Natural History Museum in London at the precise moment it is published – 12.01am BST on Saturday 21st July 2007.

Ten years after publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone the publication of this, the final book in the series, returns to where it all began: with a book, the author and her readers.

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows launch event is completely oversubscribed and no further tickets will be issued but Bloomsbury encourages fans to log on to the webstream to join in the experience. The streaming will be available for a further two weeks at www.bloomsbury.com.

And another thing I found at Leaky: an ITV special about OotP, behind the scenes, interviews with all the stars, explanations about the special effects, stunts, wand-duelling and lots more.
Warning: HEAVY spoilers ahead, so don’t watch the videos if you don’t want to know!

ITV Special, Behind the Magic (part 1), look for parts 2, 3 and 4, while you’re there!

Friday’s Feast

Friday’s Feast

Appetizer
What is your favorite fruit?
* My fav changes with the season – I love bananas though.

Soup
Who is someone you consider as a great role model?
* My grandmother, 93 and still going strong. I love her to bits.

Salad
If you were to spend one night anywhere within an hour of your home, where would you choose?
* Two locations where I’d love to stay the night (if I could afford it): Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, just because it’s so luxurious, and Kurhaus Hotel in Scheveningen, because it’s located right at the beach and it’s beautiful.

Main Course
Name something you do too often.
* Too often… as in: not good… hmm… I spent way too much time online!

Dessert
Fill in the blank: I really like ___________ because ____________.
* I really like theatre because the experience can take me to another world for a few hours. Not that “this” world is so bad, but there’s nothing wrong with a bit excitement 🙂

Christmas in July

I have a confession to make – I’m addicted to Christmas 🙂

My friends all know that I start drawing Christmas graphics in Summer. I hate the heat and drawing snow and Christmas trees help me stay cool!

At the Digital Scrapbook Place, we’re celebrating Christmas in July and I thought I’d join and create a gift for everyone.

Happy Christmas in July!

Random script

Many thanks to my teacher Caroline, who helped me install the random script *points at sidebar*

It’s amazing how easy things are when someone writes down the instructions step by step! 😀
