Feeling creative

There are times when I don’t even open PSP, other times I feel creative and doodle a bit. This afternoon, while creating Christmas Cards for my cardshop, I searched the net for a tutorial. Didn’t find the tut I was looking for, but I stumbled upon another one, which made my jaw drop – sooo beautiful!! I immediately cleared my PSP workspace as I just HAD to try this tut out.

Well, it took me several hours, as I first had to figure out the translation of the tools in PSP (my PSP is in Dutch, tut is in English) and I couldn’t remember my settings for gold, so I fiddled around a lot until the results finally resembled the image I was looking for 🙂

Here’s what I made (click to enlarge)

And the tutorial is from Scrappin’ Tuts (thanks bunches!)

No idea where or when I’m going to use it, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy at some point.

  1. This is gorgeous Antoinette. Did you make the whole thing from scratch?
It’s screaming to be used in a Highland themed Christmas layout.

  3. The Tartan was part of one of my Christmas Freebie Kits last year. The link to the tutorial of the pin is right under the pic. The chain was awful to make, my hand did hurt when I was finally finished, but it was worth it. Will definitely make more of these, with different stones.
