Swamped

I hardly have time to breath let alone post here!!

I’m working frantically to get all the previews online for the WWCSF blogtrain (see previous post), before the list has to go up at December 1. Fifty designers have signed up – unfortunately 20 previews are still missing, but I hope they will be in my inbox once I get home from the office tomorrow.

I joined another blogtrain (yeah, I know, as if I needed anything more on my ‘to do’ list, lol). I just couldn’t resist the color swatch, and was inspired by the blues – my fav color! This train also leaves the station at December 1, so check back if  you want to get some wonderful freebies.

There are several Drafts here, waiting to be finished – a very special one about my meeting with Aussie Karen (just hop over to her blog if you want to read about it prior to my post) – but it will all just have to wait until things slow down a bit. Hopefully soon!

It’s 1.45 AM and I have to get up at 6 to go to the office, so I’m off now!

Talk to you soon xx

Congratulations Sesame Street!

I have Google as my homepage, as I love being surprised by the Google Doodle.

This is another great one – made me smile today everytime I saw it 🙂

40 Years of Sesame Street – wow!

Here’s Ieniemienie from the Dutch Sesame Street (not sure if she’s a character in other countries as well)

Apparently they used different Doodles worldwide, according to this blogpost

Congratulations Asterix!

50 Years Asterix & Obelix

Awesome Google Doodle!

Feeling creative

There are times when I don’t even open PSP, other times I feel creative and doodle a bit. This afternoon, while creating Christmas Cards for my cardshop, I searched the net for a tutorial. Didn’t find the tut I was looking for, but I stumbled upon another one, which made my jaw drop – sooo beautiful!! I immediately cleared my PSP workspace as I just HAD to try this tut out.

Well, it took me several hours, as I first had to figure out the translation of the tools in PSP (my PSP is in Dutch, tut is in English) and I couldn’t remember my settings for gold, so I fiddled around a lot until the results finally resembled the image I was looking for 🙂

Here’s what I made (click to enlarge)

And the tutorial is from Scrappin’ Tuts (thanks bunches!)

No idea where or when I’m going to use it, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy at some point.
