I LOVE London

As promised, here is the second sign I decorated.

LONDON

When I saw the blank sign in the shop I decided to decorate it for Valentine’s Day… but then I thought: What do I love most (apart from family and furbabies)… LONDON of course.
Finally a chance to use the Portobello Road collection from Papermania. I love the papers, buttons, bows and, oh… everything in this collection! I also bought the stamps, but couldn’t use them on the sign, so now I have to create a scrapbook layout as well, these items are too cute not to use! πŸ™‚

If you missed my previous post, check the HOME SIGN post for instructions on how to decorate a sign (I’m no expert, so it’s only MY way of doing it!).

All in all, I’m over the moon with how it turned out. Bonus: a sign I can keep for myself and not give away πŸ˜€

  3. Oh my Goodness!!! I’ve just seen these last two posts Antoinette and they’re just gorgeous. Don’t ever ever ever let me read you saying your not tactile or good with glue and scissors again. I can see why you’re excited by the finished products. They’re beautiful.

LOL – Karen, I will keep saying that glue/scissors and me don’t go well together. I may like the results but I’m still not enjoying the process, which should be the case when you’re doing something crafty, right? After all, it’s supposed to be a hobby, something you like doing.
Maybe I’ll reach that point, who knows? I never thought I’d create anything at all and here’s the post to prove me wrong, so miracles do happen πŸ˜€
